Other Details to Note
4WD/ AWD is a must during winter (December through March). There is a parking spot at the top of the drive for those who would prefer not to navigate the driveway, and we recommend parking there when snowing. We have a camera that faces the yard where the drive comes in for security purposes.

Margaretville is an adoreable town - full of Catskills charm and stocked with all the amenities and conveniences you need. As you drive in, there is a fully stocked supermarket, CVS pharmacy, ice cream shop, gift & toy shop, and various shops and galleries on Main Street including a wine & liquor store, Cafe Marguerite (a local favorite!) and wonderful restaurants, including Trattoria Locale, Binnekill Tavern and Picnic. There is even a charging station located in town for electric vehicles. The nearby town of Arkville also boasts several amenities including the Delaware & Ulster Railroad, Ark Bowl & BBQ and Bread and Breakfast. All in all, Margaretville is perfectly situated for all kinds of year round activities given its proximity to Belleayre Ski Resort, Plattekill Mountain, Esopus Creek, Belleayre Beach, Alder Lake, Pakatakan farmers market and numerous hiking trails. There is a Trailways bus from NYC to Fleischmanns and a car service can be taken from there to the property but having a car is best for getting around.
